Overwhelming Kindness

Some days at Jafuta really seem as if Christmas has come early and it's because of the incredibly generous donations people give to us. Just recently we received the amazing list below:

• 1 laptop
• 4 soccer balls
• 1 soccer ball pump
• 1 skipping rope
• 7 chessboards
• 2 suitcases
• 2 travelling bags
• 17 note pads
• 10 composition books
• 50 ass blank notes with envelopes 
• 640 blue and black pens
• 256 pencils
• 50 small boxes crayons
• 32 mechanical pencils
• 48 metal pencil sharpers
• 502 ladies underwear
• 148 items assorted clothing items
• Sewing stuff(8 rolls of thread, 8 zippers, 3 packs needles, pack of buttons,1 box of clippers,1 roll elastic)

These items make so much difference in the lives of the people we work with. From this donation, our Girl's Dignity program is roaring back on track with all the underwear donations, a school has stationery for all their learners, our women's refuge closet is fast stocking up and a very special chess club is founded in honour of a beloved father. We would like to offer our most sincere thanks on behalf of everyone who has benefitted from this donation to the following special Jafuta friends:
