Embracing a Long-Term Strategy for the Prevention of Abuse
The Jafuta Foundation has a vision that transcends immediate relief and aims for a lasting impact. Our approach is rooted in education, awareness, and a deep understanding of the rights of women and, most importantly, the girl child.
This 20-bed facility will host youth camps for young girls, focusing on personal growth, well-being, safety, self-empowerment and resilience. It will be a hub for training programs for women and girls, bringing new skills and ideas to our community. We believe that by providing this safe space, supporting and guiding women and our young ladies, we can largely prevent the future abuse of women.
Our journey has been supported by two wonderful donors and local partner, Miracle Missions, whose generosity has made this facility a reality. They recognized the urgent need for a facility in our community where girls and women can have their voices heard, come together to support one another and realize their worth and potential. Together, we will create a community where every woman and girl can thrive and be empowered to live a life of dignity and respect.
Knowledge + Resilience + Empowerment = Strong Women
