School Feeding Program
Hunger was once one of the greatest barriers to learning in the communities we serve. Today, children come to school knowing they will receive a nutritious meal—and the impact has been profound. Attendance has improved, concentration in class has increased, and overall nutrition and wellbeing are visibly better.
As Chisuma Primary School senior teacher Madam Mlilo shared, “Even when there is no food at home, children no longer sleep on empty stomachs. This one meal gives them strength and hope.”
In 2025, Jafuta Foundation provided 88,740 meals to 500 primary school learners across two rural schools. Beyond filling stomachs, the programme supports learning and protects children’s health - ensuring that hunger no longer stands in the way of education.
