Creativity, Arts & Culture
“With a little seed of imagination, you can grow a field full of hope” — African Proverb
From deep cultural roots to contemporary creative talent, we celebrate Zimbabwe’s identity through artistic and visual expression.
Zimbabwe’s culture is a rich and diverse blend of many peoples, tribes and traditions, and preserving this heritage is vital in a rapidly changing world. Through Batoka Creatives and the Jafuta Foundation Heritage Centre, we protect cultural identity while creating meaningful economic opportunity
Batoka Creatives
Our social enterprise makers programme, supporting women and youth artisans to develop skills, create contemporary products rooted in traditional design, and earn sustainable incomes.
By linking creativity with market access, the programme turns cultural expression into dignified livelihoods, with profits reinvested into community programmes.
Jafuta Foundation Heritage Centre
We preserve and share local history, traditions, and craftsmanship, providing a space for learning, storytelling, and cultural exchange.
Together, these initiatives ensure Zimbabwe’s heritage is not only preserved, but actively lived, shared, and sustained for future generations.
