Digital Skills & Technology
In today’s world, access to technology and digital skills is essential for education, communication, and opportunity. In many rural communities, limited or no electricity, connectivity, and access to devices place learners at a serious disadvantage, widening the digital divide and limiting future prospects.
Jafuta Foundation’s Digital Skills & Technology Program responds to this challenge by providing access to technology in safe, supported learning environments. The programme supports schools, teachers, and learners through shared digital resources that improve learning outcomes and open access to opportunities that would otherwise remain out of reach for rural children and youth.
At the heart of this work is our Non-Formal Education (NFE) Hub, where learners are introduced to basic computer skills, digital literacy, coding boot camps, and responsible technology use. These skills support schoolwork, enable access to information and remote work opportunities, and build confidence in using digital tools.
Through strategic technology partnerships with MCRI Zimbabwe and Uncommon, Jafuta Foundation continues to expand access to devices, training, and digital learning platforms -ensuring rural learners are not left behind in an increasingly connected world.
