Conservation

Our conservation programmes are rooted in the belief that protecting wildlife and supporting rural communities must go hand in hand. Operating in wildlife-rich areas, we work with communities that live on the frontline of human–wildlife interaction, where conservation pressures directly affect daily life, safety, and livelihoods.

We focus on practical, community-led solutions that reduce human–wildlife conflict while strengthening local stewardship of natural resources. This includes environmental education and awareness programmes, especially for children and youth, to build long-term understanding of conservation and biodiversity. We support habitat restoration through tree nurseries, reforestation, and regenerative land-use practices that protect ecosystems and improve resilience to climate change.

Our work also links conservation to livelihoods. By creating income-generating opportunities connected to conservation—such as eco-based enterprises and skills development—we help communities see wildlife as a shared asset rather than a threat. Through these integrated approaches, our programmes promote safer coexistence, environmental protection, and sustainable development, ensuring that both people and wildlife can thrive together.
