For many rural young people, the transition from school to employment is extremely challenging and creates significant anxiety.  Exposure to career options beyond the immediate rural environment is limited, and access to guidance, role models, and reliable information about further study or work opportunities is often lacking. As a result, many school leavers are left uncertain about their future and unprepared for the realities they face.

This challenge is compounded by Zimbabwe’s very high unemployment rate—estimated at around 90%—and a scarcity of formal job opportunities.
